Halloween

Majellyn was a brat on Halloween and I couldn't get a single picture out of her, despite the fact that she was a darling hip witch and a very beautiful vampire (doesn't everyone need two different costumes?). Giada dressed as David Wright, third baseman for the Mets for our Saturday night party, while Drew was a pumpkin. But these were not the ACTUAL halloween wear, since Mommy didn't get her act together until the day itself. For Halloween (the big event, really) Giada dressed as Dora and carried Dora with her for comparison and company. The backpack was very handy for keeping candy out of reach! One of my more brilliant schemes, I think. Drew was the cat in the hat. Really, IN the hat. It came up to his waist and kept his little feet all warm like a striped sack. I thought it was cute, and everybody who 'got it' thought so too... I figured Toni would be proud of the ingenuity. Plus, it made trunk-or-treating warm and cuddly! I did dress as a tree, in brown from head to toe and painted with branches, leaves, etc... but do you know how hard it is to take a decent picture of yourself?

OK - I LOVE the cat in the hat . . . so darn cute! Spank Maj for not getting her picture taken for her Ahnt! Giada makes a darling Dora and you get 5 stars for dressing your children AND yourself . . good job!

Papa says his favorite of Drew is the Cat in the Hat pic. He is so darling and it makes us laugh to see him like this.
